DMCA & Takedown Requests
We respect intellectual property and personal rights and act quickly on valid requests.
How to send a takedown request
Rights holders can email [email protected] with the URL on Scarlet and a description of their claim. We review every request and remove the content within 24–48 hours.
What to include
- Your contact details and signature
- The URL on Scarlet you want removed
- Identification of the work or right concerned
- A good-faith statement that the use is unauthorised
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you are authorised to act
Performers
Any performer may ask to be removed from Scarlet, with no justification needed. Email [email protected] from an address or account we can match to your official profile. We aim to act within 24–48 hours and add you to a permanent exclusion list so the automated feed does not re-list you.
Urgent abuse reports
To report suspected child sexual abuse material or non-consensual intimate imagery on a linked platform, contact that platform immediately and report to NCMEC (report.cybertip.org) or StopNCII.org. Notify us at [email protected] and we will remove the link at once.
