About #chat performers

Chat rooms put conversation first. Performers tagged chat are there to talk: about their day, their interests, viewers' questions or whatever topic comes up. Regular viewers often treat these rooms like a familiar hangout.

If you are new to live streams, chat rooms are a good place to start. Saying hello, asking about something in the background or commenting on the music are all easy openers. Most performers appreciate viewers who are friendly and respectful of their room rules.

The grid shows performers tagged chat who are live now. It refreshes every few minutes. Each card opens the performer's official room on Chaturbate.

Related tags include ASMR for quieter rooms and nerdy or gamer for conversation around shared interests. Our guide to supporting creators safely has tips on good etiquette.

Some chat performers also run themed nights, such as movie talk, question-and-answer sessions or music sharing, and announce them in their room description. It is worth reading that before jumping in.
